Providence Farms is owned and operated by our family. We grow all our fruit and vegetables naturally, the way God intended. We use no pesticides or herbicides and only natural fertilizers that will replenish the soils.
Gerry & Lisa Newman and Family operate this small family farm. We grow every vegetable imaginable, fresh cut flowers, brown chicken eggs and juicy, ripe strawberries in summer. We have a passion for farming and endeavor to always improve! Our children all farm with us and we couldn't do it without them. We try to teach our children good work ethics, serving others, charity, and honesty. These attributes will take you far in life and make you a better person. Our children go to Farmer's Markets with us and enjoy the customer relationships that have developed in the past years. Many customers have watched our children grow in the years we have been at markets. We don't consider those who purchase our vegetables just our "customers", we try to develop a real "relationship" with you. You are important to us!

We sell primarily at Farmers Markets in Kansas City and our Winter CSA
(Community Supported Agriculture).
We specialize in Naturally-Grown vegetables and strawberries. We also grow and sell the finest quality bedding plants and herbs. We always have some potted or cut flowers to cheer the soul. Our homemade jams and jellies have won a special place in many hearts.
